The author of the book Dr. Hari Prasad Chhetri is a former bureaucrat who is a revered figure in the Himalayan state of Sikkim. Dr. Chhetri is renowned as an educationist, social architect, and visionary. His unwavering dedication and remarkable contributions to society serve as an inspiration to many. Dr. Chhetri’s academic voyage is a testimony to his lifelong pursuit of knowledge. Upon retiring from his professional career, he pursued a Ph.D. degree in Sociology from the University of North Bengal, achieving this milestone at the age of 64. He had already earned a postgraduate degree in Sociology from Meerut University in 1992 prior to this. Furthermore, Dr. Chhetri graduated with Honours in Agriculture from Kalyani University and in Law from the University of North Bengal. Dr. Hari Prasad Chhetri has written his autobiography titled ‘Primordial’ in English and ‘Aatmakatha’ in Nepali.
