Annual publication. "Volume one of Exercise and Sport Sciences Reviews appeared in 1973. Volumes one through three were published by Academic Press, Inc., New York, N.Y. Volumes four and five were published by Journal Publishing Affiliates, 320 E. Gutierrez, Santa Barbara, California. In 1978, the series was adopted by American College of Sport Medicine (ACSM) as an Oficial ACSM sponsored publication. During the same year, publication and copyright were transferred to the Franklin Institute Press, Box 2266, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
