The 2018 edition of the Swiss Statistical Yearbook is an anniversary edition: The traditional flagship publication of the Federal Statistical Office is appearing for the 125th time. Its history is presented as a special chapter and embedded in the history of the public statistics of our state. A special cover design rounds off the 2018 yearbook edition, which, by the way, again offers a current statistical overview of 21 topics - from population to work, prices, industry and services, health to education and crime. Throughout German / French with an overview chapter each in English and Italian. Summarizing and commenting texts, explanatory glossaries, many graphics and a rich table section provide an overview and in-depth knowledge of every topic. A separate publication is included with the yearbook. Historical maps and graphics are compared to current maps and graphics on the same topics.
