Population explosion as it termed, is considered to be one of the most critical problems relatinf to developing nations. Tripartite collaboration implemented by Textile Labour Association (TLA), Ahmedabad Textile Mills Association (ATMA), and Government of Gujrat and with United Nations Funds for population Activities (UNFPA) to be executed by the ILO. The report surveyed the wider structure of social and family of textile workers of Ahmedabad. This report based on the data obtained in the baseline survey is organized into three parts. Part II of the report describes briefly the design of the baseline sample survey, the questionnaire and the organization of data collection and analysis. Part III of this report presents the main results of the analysis of the survey data, conclusion and recommendations are given in Part IV of this report.
