Dr. Chhetri’s academic voyage is a testimony to his lifelong pursuit of knowledge. Upon retiring from his professional career, he pursued a Ph.D. degree in Sociology from the University of North Bengal, achieving this milestone at the age of 64. He had already earned a postgraduate degree in Sociology from Meerut University in 1992 prior to this. Furthermore, Dr. Chhetri graduated with Honours in Agriculture from Kalyani University and in Law from the University of North Bengal. Dr. Hari Prasad Chhetri has written his autobiography titled ‘Primordial’ in English and ‘Aatmakatha’ in Nepali.
